Fall Colors

Fall colors.  I love all seasons.  Fall for the rain, lovely colors and the nip in the air.  Winter for the rain, stark colors and chill in the air.  When it snows, the starkness is multiplied against the white background.  Spring for the fresh beginnings.  Makes me want to start planting my pot garden.  Summer for the warm haziness that makes me feel like laying on the beach and taking a snooze.

Humming Bird at the Fuchsia

This morning caught my first photo of a humming bird at the fuchsia flowers!  My G3X is marvelous.

Canon PowerShot G3X -- An Amazing Camera

The other day we went to Pro Photo Supply to look at the Canon PowerShot G3X that has been out for a little over a year.  I love telephotography, but can't pay the price of the neck angle required to get the awesome pictures!  Hubby thought that maybe a smaller, lighter camera might work so we headed down to Pro Photo Supply.
It was love at first sight!  And the more I use it, the more I appreciate the capabilities of the "little" camera.  For me it is a "little" camera because up until now I've been using the Canon 6D with a telephoto lens.  Talk about heavy!
Here are some shots I've done of the "eyes" of the wild creatures.
